HI, I'm JENNY.

Old houses don't scare me. Bad renovations do.

I'm Jenny Mitchell, a REALTOR® based in Staunton, Virginia, and an unabashed lover of old houses, honest conversations, and homes that actually have something to say.

I've been licensed since 2016, but my real education started long before that, amid renovation projects, estate sales, and fifteen years as a vintage and antique dealer, with a focus on mid-century finds. I know what original hardwood sounds like underfoot, when a room is telling the wrong story, and exactly what it would take to tell the right one. Call it a collector's eye and a renovator's instincts, the kind of read you only get from having done the work yourself.

I came to the Shenandoah Valley in 2006, young, a little accidental, not entirely planning to stay. We bought a very 1960s, very original house in Waynesboro and told ourselves it was temporary. Twenty years later, I'm still here, still obsessed with this place, and I've built a career helping people do exactly that: find more house, more life, and more room to breathe than they thought possible.

My focus is Staunton, with select work in Waynesboro and Augusta County, historic homes, character properties, and the people who know the difference between a house and a home.

If you're selling, I stage every listing I take, not as a trend, but because I've seen what preparation does to a final number. I care about your photos, your pricing, your timing, and the eleven things most agents walk right past.

If you're buying, especially if you're making the move from Charlottesville, Richmond, or Northern Virginia, I've made this exact move. I know what you're weighing, what you're afraid of giving up, and what's waiting on the other side.
